Using Adobe InDesign to Create Potential Business Cards

“Dress for the job you want, not the job you have,” is a famous quote that came to mind when I decided to make a business card. Instead of basing the card off of my current endeavors I made it based upon my dream job, Public Relations and Communications Officer for the United Nations.

It was my first time using Adobe InDesign and I found it similar to Adobe Photoshop, so it was fairly easy to use for me. Although I only downloaded the free trial of InDesign, I think that this program will be beneficial to my future career in Public Relations.

To make the business card I simply layered photos with text and precisely placed them based off of other business cards I’ve seen in the past and viewed online.

Here are photos of the actual inDesign process.
